ChamberDocs Full Transition
We’re moving fully to ChamberDocs.
NZCCI has launched an upgraded version of ChamberDocs, our online platform for lodging Certificates of Origin and other trade documentation. Our EssCert licence expires on 19 June 2026. From this date, all certificate applications must be submitted through ChamberDocs.
Please identify which category below applies to you and take the relevant steps before the deadline.
EssCert users submitting non-preferential COOs
You will need to submit all non-preferential COOs through ChamberDocs from 19 June 2026.
Previously, EssCert was used for non-preferential Certificate of Origin applications. ChamberDocs now has full capability for non-preferential COOs, Sundry (self-declaration) FTA applications, and other commercial documentation. From 19 June, this is the only pathway available.
Already registered on ChamberDocs?
• You do not need to re-register.
• Please familiarise yourself with how to submit non-preferential COOs. See our guides below.
• If you cannot locate your login details, use the password reset function or contact your chamber.
Not yet registered on ChamberDocs?
• You must register before 19 June 2026. We strongly encourage you to do this as early as possible.

• Download and complete the FTA Authorised Signatory Form, sign it in blue ink, and return it to your local chamber for all representatives who will be lodging certificates.
Email Submission Clients
Action required – contact your chamber to complete the transition process.
If your business submits COO applications via an automated email submission system, you may need to complete a transition process before 19 June 2026. Please contact us as soon as possible. You will need to provide your company’s central vendor email address (the address your system sends applications from – not your signatory email).
For technical questions about your submission format, contact your service provider. Your chamber team will guide you through the process and confirm when the transition is complete.
