2026 New Zealand Business Delegation to China
The Auckland Business Chamber and New Zealand Chinese Business Club invite you to join our 2026 business delegation to Chengdu, Mianyang and Chongqing (6–16 September).
Now in its fourth year, the delegation offers business matchmaking, government meetings, factory tours and cultural experiences — all fully organised for just $6,290 + GST. Accommodation, meals and all domestic transport are included. New Zealand passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to China.
The programme
The 11-day delegation departs 6 September and returns 16 September, visiting three destinations across southwest China. In Chengdu and Mianyang (Sichuan Province), delegates will meet with local government officials, attend business matchmaking conferences and tour local enterprises.
The final leg is Chongqing, one of China’s most dynamic cities, where the programme concludes with a farewell dinner on 15 September.
Previous delegations have visited Shanghai, Beijing, Hainan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Shandong, Jiangsu and Henan, with meetings at vice-governor level and visits to world-leading companies including CATL and Yutong.
What’s included
The delegate fee of $6,290 + GST covers everything on the ground in China: five-star hotel accommodation (single occupancy), all meals, domestic transport including high-speed rail, business matchmaking coordination, enterprise visits, government meeting facilitation, sightseeing, and a professional photography and videography crew. A pre-departure briefing and post-trip debriefing reception in New Zealand are also included.
International airfare is not included, though assistance with purchasing return tickets is available.
