Embattled Ports of Auckland CEO, Tony Gibson, is the target of relentless bullying with Independent Māori Statutory Board deputy chair Tau Henare telling him to “just bugger off” in the latest attack.
“There is no place for bullying and personality assaults under any circumstance,” says Auckland Business Chamber CEO, Michael Barnett, “This is intolerable and cannot go unchecked without consequences, particularly when the tirade it is being unleashed by a senior community leader. Mr Gibson has made a commitment to lift health and safety and build an inclusive and constructive port culture. Bullying and intimidation is not part of that.”
