Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) Students

The Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) offers students like you in Years 12 and 13, the opportunity to explore your entrepreneurial spirit and gain first-hand experience in the world of startups. With over 1600 participants in Auckland alone, YES provides a platform to turn your ideas into tangible products or services. 

The programme focuses on essential business skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making. Mentors are available to guide and support you throughout your journey, and a calendar of free events provides you with networking and learning opportunities. 

Through its four YES challenges, students can participate in a competition while setting up their own company, creating and selling real products or services, and retaining their profits. All while gaining NCEA Achievement Standard credits!
