Terms and Conditions of Membership
Membership of the Chamber of Commerce offers benefits for your entire team.
By becoming a member of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, your business agrees to the following terms and conditions:
- Minimum Membership Duration: The minimum membership duration is one year.
- Expiry Date: This membership agreement does not have an expiry date written into it. It automatically continues for the following year unless a resignation is received.
- Subscription Payments: Membership subscriptions are payable annually, with the first subscription due upon signing.
- Resignation: Membership can only be resigned in writing, within one month of the annual renewal of membership. Resignations received outside of this period will be subject to a pro-rata payment of the annual subscription.
- Authorised Resignation: Membership can only be resigned by the key contact specified in the Membership Agreement or by a director of the member company.
- Business Details Sharing: As part of Chamber-authorised activities, some of your business data may be shared between our Alliance Partners and The Chamber. We may provide your business details to other Chamber members from time to time as part of Chamber-authorised activities.
- Benefits and Packages: Benefits within packages, such as tickets to events, must be used within the year of membership. If these benefits are not utilised within the membership year, they do not carry over to the following year, and refunds will not be issued.
- Event discounts apply to Ba5, Trade on Toast & Events hosted with Government officials (excluding PM lunch and Finance Lunch).
- 50% OFF for Non-preferential Certificates of Origin and other export documents, excluding Free Trade Agreement Certificates of Origin.
- Membership benefits will apply for 12 months from sign-up or rebilling date
- Member of logo to be removed wherever displayed on the day membership is cancelled.
- The Auckland Business Chamber may decline membership at its discretion.
- Award memberships apply from date of receiving code. No credits available prior to this.
- The 2degrees 2year membership is a two-year membership term and includes two annual renewal invoices.

From time to time, we may send you information about Chamber events, programmes, services or member offers that we believe may be relevant to you. You can opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time.
Sharing Your Information
We only share personal information where it is reasonably necessary to deliver our services or where we are required or permitted to do so by law.
This may include sharing information with:
- employees and authorised contractors;
- trusted service providers who support our systems and operations;
- professional advisers;
- government agencies or regulators where required by law; and
- Alliance Partners and other organisations that help us deliver member benefits or services.
Alliance Partners and Member Benefits
One of the benefits of Chamber membership is access to products, services, discounts, events and offers provided by our Alliance Partners.
To enable members to receive these benefits, we may share limited personal information with relevant Alliance Partners. This may include your name, organisation, membership status and contact details.
Information is only shared where reasonably necessary to:
- verify eligibility for member benefits or discounts;
- administer or deliver member offers and services;
- communicate with you about relevant offers, events or services available through the Chamber or the Alliance Partner; and
- measure the use of member benefits and improve our services. Where appropriate, reporting provided to the Chamber will be aggregated or anonymised.
Our Alliance Partners are required to protect your personal information and use it only for the purposes for which it has been provided.
