About the Scholarship

Purpose of the Scholarship
The LynCon Scholarship provides young women from financially disadvantaged backgrounds with the opportunity to gain an ICT qualification and improve their future employment prospects.
Scholarship Benefits
The LynCon Scholarship provides support towards an approved ICT course for all years of the approved course, including:
• 50% of tuition fees for each year of the approved course.
• A laptop to support the recipient’s studies.
This is subject to continued eligibility and satisfactory academic progress.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must:
• Be a young woman aged between 18 and 25 years at the time of application.
• Be from a financially disadvantaged background.
• Intend to enrol in or commence an approved ICT degree or diploma programme in 2027.
• Be either a recent secondary-school leaver or currently working and seeking to pursue an ICT qualification.
• Demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career in ICT
• Be committed to successfully completing all years of the approved course of study.
Applicants should provide evidence of their motivation, potential and commitment to pursuing a career in ICT.
