Vietnam–New Zealand Business Connect 2026

Wednesday 25 November, 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Vietnam–New Zealand Business Connect 2026 | Wednesday 25 November 2026

Riding on the momentum of General Secretary and President To Lam’s state visit in August, Embassy of Viet Nam in New Zealand, the Auckland Business Chamber, and the New Zealand Vietnam Business Council are proud to host an event that puts New Zealand businesses face to face with the Vietnam market.
Join us for an afternoon of business insights, valuable connections and conversation over nibbles and drinks. Vietnam is one of the world’s fastest-growing markets, and if you plan to enter it, this is an event to put in your diary.
H.E. Phan Minh Giang, Ambassador of Vietnam, opens the programme with the priorities for deeper cooperation, followed by a welcome from the Auckland Business Chamber. Two officials from Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Finance then walk you through the country’s trade and foreign investment environment. They work on market access and investment policy every day, so you hear the local picture from the people who shape it, along with how New Zealand businesses can access the market. A New Zealand speaker who has worked on the ground in Vietnam follows with first-hand experience you will not find in a policy paper. A Q&A session closes the programme, so bring your questions.
Refreshments and networking follow. If Vietnam features in your plans, this is where you meet people with real knowledge and experience of the market, and make connections that count. Free to attend.
