NZUBA Launch Event

Monday 29th April 10:00am – 12:00pm

Amidst its war with Russia since February 2022, Ukraine presents notable trade and investment opportunities. Ukraine’s reconstruction needs are vast, currently estimated at USD 486 billion, encompassing infrastructure, housing, manufacturing, and agriculture. Ukraine offers investment opportunities across various sectors, attracting global firms despite risks related to ongoing war and governance challenges.

Before the war, New Zealand enjoyed trade with Ukraine and, in small part, still does. Now, we have the opportunity to establish relationships to rebuild New Zealand and Ukraine trade.

The objectives of the New Zealand Ukraine Business Association (NZUBA) are to raise awareness in New Zealand of the economic and trade opportunities in Ukraine, both short-term and long-term, and to promote business and trade relations and cooperation between interested New Zealand and Ukrainian businesses and organisations.

This is your opportunity to meet Ukraine’s Ambassador to New Zealand and Australia, His Excellency Vasyl Myroshnychenko, and several members of the Ukrainian Parliament.  Other speakers will comprise members of the Board of NZUBA, Patrick Gamble, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in New Zealand and Simon Bridges, CEO of Auckland Business Chamber.

Hear firsthand what is happening in Ukraine, network, discuss business opportunities, and learn more about the benefits of becoming a member of the NZUBA.
