Calling All Professionals Under 40!
Let’s Lead: Let’s Scale your Career & Business
We’re back.
After a packed launch and a powerful second session, we’re excited to bring you the third event in the Let’s Lead series – designed for professionals under 40 who are ready to connect, challenge themselves, and step up as the next wave of leaders in Aotearoa.
This time, we’re tackling what it really takes to scale your business and your career. Expect real talk, practical insights, and the kind of lessons you won’t find in a textbook or on LinkedIn.
Hear from our speakers:
Anna-May Isbey – Anna-May believes personal growth comes from curiosity, adaptability, and courage, balanced with hard work, empathy, and perseverance. These values have guided her through boardrooms, delegations, and high-level negotiations and continue to shape her approach to leadership.
Dahee Sohn – Dahee Sohn is the Executive Director of the Korea New Zealand Business Council (KNZBC), where she has led the revitalisation and rebranding of the Council, driving new initiatives to strengthen trade and collaboration between South Korea and New Zealand. She also serves as Sales Operations Manager at Sistema Plastics, overseeing international projects that connect operations and sales across ANZ, EMEA, the US, and Asia, including South Korea and Japan. With a background in international sales, manufacturing, and export strategy, Dahee brings a global perspective shaped by her experience supporting brands expanding into the Korean market and through her early roles in education, branding, and major events such as the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. A graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, she is passionate about building communities, fostering cross-cultural partnerships, and helping New Zealand businesses succeed on the global stage. Dahee also serves on the Asian Business Advisory Board at the Auckland Business Chamber.
Marcus Pouwels-Strang – Marcus takes a collaborative approach to leadership and believes discipline, resilience, and ambition are what drive long-term success, in business and in careers. He is excited to share some of the lessons (and mistakes) he has picked up along the way.
Sameer Jagga – Sameer leads Microsoft’s Cloud & AI Specialist Sales teams in New Zealand and oversees the Cyber Security Solutions team across Australia and New Zealand. Sameer is passionate about creating a secure, inclusive, and digital-first future for businesses, communities, and innovators.
