Jarrod Kerr, Kiwibank’s new Chief Economist, is passionate about the environment, financial literacy, and all things economics. Born and educated in New Zealand, he built his career in the US, Switzerland, and Australia, working for JP Morgan, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Credit Suisse. After 16 years abroad, Jarrod has returned home to lead economic insights at Kiwibank.
Simon Bridges
Auckland Business Chamber CEO
Simon Bridges, CEO of the Auckland Business Chamber, is a former National Party Leader and senior Cabinet Minister, having held portfolios including Economic Development, Transport, and Communications. A lawyer by training, he served as a Crown prosecutor before entering politics, and has degrees from Auckland and Oxford universities. Author of the bestselling memoir National Identity, Simon also chairs NZTA Waka Kotahi and the CC Group.

Kiwibank’s Chief Customer Officer
Elliot Smith, Kiwibank’s Chief Customer Officer, Business, has over 20 years in banking, including roles at NAB, Westpac, ASB, and six years at Kiwibank. With a background in hospitality and banking across New Zealand and Australia, he values strong leadership, customer service, and Kiwibank’s mission to make New Zealand better off.
