The Auckland Business Chamber broadcasted a 12-hour CAREER-A-THON – an event to benefit employment, whether you are a student, a job seeker, or an employer. 

We want to bridge the gap between schools, job seekers, and the wider world of work, and what better way to do so than by bringing students, job seekers, employees, and employers together for a 12-hour CAREER-A-THON.

You can now watch the replay of the CAREER-A-THON, or select the sector you would like to watch.  The CAREER-A-THON profiles over 50 careers through real-life “on the job” interviews from 10 different sectors, along with inspirational speakers for each of the sectors, enertainment and more…  

During the replay you will see a range of social media competitions, sector giveaways with prizes including flight vouchers, a phone, gaming chair, fuel vouchers, hair straighteners – unfortunately, these were only available during the LIVE broadcast. 

Our CAREER-A-THON will enable you to:

• Discover – the possibilities for job seekers and employers.
• Explore – the opportunities that exist for job seekers and employers across a range of sectors.
• Connect – digitally with a range of employers and employees who are ready to tell you about the world of work.

How does this work?

The 12 hours will be broken down into sectors, and in each of those sectors, you will hear from a number of young people in their jobs, a message from our amazing sector sponsor, keynote speakers who will talk about their journey from education to employment, some pretty cool entertainment and the opportunity to ring our free hotline to win some pretty awesome prizes.
