Terms and Conditions for Becoming a Client of Chamber Mentors

  • Chamber Mentors is the name of the mentoring program operated by the Auckland Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated (“Auckland Business Chamber”);
  • Chamber Mentors are acting as volunteers who will share their time, insight, knowledge and experience with me in good faith, with no charge, on a voluntary, warranty-free basis;
  • Chamber Mentors are independent volunteers and are not acting as agents of the Auckland Business Chamber;
  • Any guidance or assistance provided to me or any of my companies by the Chamber Mentor is not intended to be a substitute for professional advice and will not be used by me or any of my companies as a substitute for professional advice;
  • The Auckland Business Chamber and any Chamber Mentor will not have any liabilities or obligations to me or any of my companies as a result of subscribing to this Chamber Mentors service;
  • The Auckland Business Chamber and any Chamber Mentor will not be liable under any circumstance or situation for any loss of revenues, loss of profits, damage, loss or injury of any kind that me or any of my companies may suffer or incur, whether direct, indirect or consequential;
  • The Auckland Business Chamber and any Chamber Mentor does not bear any responsibility for the success and/or failure of any of my companies as a consequence of my registration as a client of the Chamber Mentors program;
  • Either party, being the Auckland Business Chamber and myself, can elect to withdraw from the Chamber Mentors program at any time at our sole discretion by providing written notification (an email is deemed acceptable) to the other party;
  • I will pay the Auckland Business Chamber a registration charge (currently set at $200 + GST for a 12-month period of mentoring support) on completion of this application using the online payment portal and agree that this registration charge is non-refundable as it supports the Auckland Business Chamber costs to administer the Chamber Mentors program;
  • Once the registration charge is paid and my registration is completed, I will then be contacted by a representative from the Auckland Business Chamber welcoming me to the Chamber Mentors program and advising next steps, including how I will be matched to a Chamber Mentor;
  • I will advise the Chamber Mentor, during the course of providing the mentoring services, of any major structure change (legal or ownership) to the company being mentored;
  • I will advise the Chamber Mentor, during the course of providing the mentoring services, of any legal actions in which I or the company being mentored are involved with, or subsequently become involved with;
  • I will advise the Chamber Mentor, during the course of providing the mentoring services, of any significant hazards at any of my premises (where we may meet) and take all the necessary actions to ensure the Chamber Mentor is not harmed at any of my premises (where we may meet) by any hazard of by any action of my employees or contractors.
