With the advent of the NZ-EU Free Trade Agreement, let’s make the most of it.

The delegation will visit Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary for 8-9 days.

Business Missions 2024 in the Pacific Region
The Pacific region have three separate business missions happening in June and July 2024.
Business missions are the ideal way to enter the market whether you are starting your venture or are already actively engaged in the region; it’s the perfect opportunity to meet with government officials and departments, get introductions to companies already on the ground and the networking plus to understand the business and cultural requirements of the country.
Three of the Pacific business councils are leading missions to Fiji, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea respectively.
NZFBC business mission to Fiji
“It’s your business to be in Fiji”
The interest for the business mission to Fiji in early June has been extremely high, we now are looking to lead a delegation of 35 plus to Fiji.
We can confirm that the formal mission will commence Monday 2 June – Thursday 6 June, commencing in Suva and concluding in Denarau, Nadi to coincide with the Annual Joint Conference Friday 7 June.
We are honoured that Hon Manoa Kamikamica, DPM and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications has accepted our invitation to attend and open the formalities on Day One of the mission.

NZPBC business mission to Solomon Islands
The NZ Pacific Business Council has now extended the dates to now a three day business mission to the Solomon Islands as 10 – 12 June 2024. The formalities for the mission will be in Honiara.
We are looking to provide a mission that will benefit those that are looking to enter the market and to those that are already actively engaged in the region.
Travel to the Solomons would be over the weekend with an informal networking event on the Sunday evening with the mission proper commencing on Monday morning.

This mission has the support from the Trade Commissioner, David Dewar and his NZTE team, New Zealand High Commission office on the ground in Honiara and the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce.

NZPNGBC business mission to Papua New Guinea
The NZ PNG Business Council with the support of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and the High Commission team on the ground in PNG will lead a business mission to Papua New Guinea with a focus on Port Moresby and Lae.
Date: 1 – 5 July 2024
A tentative skeleton programme is for travel to PNG on Sunday 30 June with the formal mission to commence Monday 1 July and Tuesday 2 July. This mission is coinciding with the PNG Industrial + Mining Resources Exhibition and Conference (3 -4 July) as this may be of interest to some of our delegates, with the business mission resuming with a side visit to Lae on Friday 5 July.
If the exhibition and conference are of no interest to you then this is an opportune time for business meetings and/or if you do elect to attend the conference then you can choose between attendance of one or both days.
Planning is still in the preliminary stages; however we are seeking “expressions of interest” so that we can gauge the interest and plan accordingly.
