Founder and President of leading Chinese non-governmental think tank Centre for China and Globalization, Dr. Henry Wang, will delve into the intricacies of navigating international relations and trade dynamics, and share his view of China’s place in a globalised world.

CHANGING THE FACE OF THE CHINESE CONSUMER

The chair of the influential China Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand, Jun Qi, will share his members’ insights into the Changing Face of the Chinese Consumer.

The China Business Summit will be attended by New Zealand’s eminent business leaders and politicians, stakeholders from the New Zealand and Chinese business communities, commentators, officials and international experts.

It provides a great opportunity for delegates to network with senior business and political leaders and engage in strategic conversions that will set the direction for New Zealand’s future with China.

Fran O’Sullivan
Managing Director, NZINC

Fran O’Sullivan is a leading business commentator who has been instrumental in creating significant platforms to advance New Zealand’s key international business and trading relationships. Fran is Head of Business for NZME. She launched the annual China Business Summit in conjunction with the Auckland Business Chamber in 2012. Fran’s active interest in New Zealand’s relationship with China, dates back to 1999 when she travelled with then Prime Minister Dame Jenny Shipley to Beijing to invite leading Chinese CEOs to take part in the APEC CEOs Summit in Auckland that year. She is a member of the NZ China Council and has taken part in all partnership forums between New Zealand and China. Fran is a regular contributor to the NZ Government’s China Capable public sector masterclass programme in Wellington. She was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2019 New Year Honours for services to journalism and business.
